The WKR (work-related costs scheme) has been expanded
After the government had already widened the work expense scheme in the Netherlands by half a percent to 1.7% from January 1, 2020, the government has now decided to temporarily widen it to 3% until the end of 2020. This unexpected extension has everything to do with the coronavirus. The 3% is valid for the first €400.000 of the wage bill per employer, making it extra favorable for SMEs.
