Water is the essence of our existence. It determines how we live, survive, and in many cases how we thrive as communities. Yet, despite the crucial role water plays in our lives, the care with which we treat this precious resource worldwide is often far from adequate. The challenge: Clean drinking water for all
Despite the progress we have made as a global community, more than 700 million people still live without access to clean drinking water. Organizations like Made Blue play a crucial role in addressing this crisis. By investing in water projects in areas facing extreme water scarcity, and providing education to local communities, they are making a direct impact. Their work not only helps provide access to clean water, but also helps reduce plastic waste by using water points instead of plastic bottles.
Our Contribution: A Wave of Change
Every year, on March 22, World Water Day is celebrated. This day serves as a powerful reminder of water challenges around the world. It is a day when we reflect on the impact of water on our existence and the need to take responsibility for its management and protection. This year, we at Retulp are once again committed to raising awareness and taking action on global water issues. At Retulp, we are proud of our partnership with Made Blue and our contribution to their mission. For every bottle we sell, we donate 1,000 times its contents in gallons of clean drinking water. This has allowed us to reach an incredible milestone: over 100 million gallons of clean drinking water donated to communities in need.
This achievement is not just a number; it represents life-changing benefits for 1405 people who now have access to clean drinking water, preventing 718 tons of CO2 emissions, reducing 1026 tons of plastic waste, and preserving 15389 trees. This is the power of collective action and the essence of our "Mission Indisposable.
