Retulp & the Care Specialist Canal Walk
For 25 years now, ZorgSpecialist has been organizing a midsummer evening run along the Haarlem canals where running is combined with the sociability of the Haarlem city center. The course runs through the beautiful old center of Haarlem and of course along the canals. During the course on 5 July, 4100 participants passed various cultural/tourist attractions. In addition, they were encouraged by enthusiastic crowds and the various bands and DJs providing musical support.
As a healthcare organization, the ZorgSpecialist stands for a socially responsible policy. For this reason, the organization of the event, Sport Support and the ZorgSpecialist wanted to get rid of the plastic bottles with water or sports drink that were handed out at the finish line. For this reason they chose a sustainable alternative: the printed bio water bottle from Retulp!
Bio water bottles printed for an event
By using an organic water bottle based on sugarcane instead of plastic, the Care Specialist has chosen a good alternative for all the plastic that is usually wasted during this event. In addition, the Care Specialist has contributed to the fact that 1000 times the content of drinking water will be donated to developing countries through Made Blue, good work!
Did you know that in addition to organic water bottle printing, you can also choose to have other bottles printed? For example, go for a stainless steel Urban water bottle or choose a nice Retulp thermos cup.
