How does a thermos work?

A good thermos or mug will lose as little heat as possible and keep your drink at temperature even after a few hours of hiking. The best thermos bottles are made of stainless steel (SS). This material insulates well and is also easy to clean.
A large or small thermos, what is the right size?
Thermos bottles come in a variety of sizes. The larger the bottle, the more weight you have to carry. Buy a bottle with a capacity that is just enough for you. Of course, this depends on how long you will be hiking and how many people will be using the thermos.
