Plastic soup: what are we doing about it?

Plastic doesn't belong in the sea, but millions of pounds of it are added every year. Fortunately, there are people who want things to be different. Like Boyan Slat. With his project The Ocean Cleanup he developed a smart system to catch plastic from the sea. In the video below, he explains it himself. Really worth watching.

Cleaning up is good. Prevention is even better.

At Retulp (formerly Tulper), we also believe in action. But by turning off the tap. With reusable bottles, cups and bags, we're making sure less plastic is used - and therefore less ends up in the sea. For every bottle sold, we also donate 1,000 times its contents to clean drinking water.

Want to make a difference? reusable bottles or read more about our mission.
