How does that actually work?
For every bottle sold, Retulp donates 1,000 times the content of drinking water to developing countries through the MADEBLUE foundation. So you as a consumer or business customer can contribute to a sustainable future for someone else. And we certainly don't do that for nothing. More than 844,000,000 people still have no access to clean drinking water and thus lack the basis for a healthy and productive existence.
Together with 251 other ambassadors, MADEBLUE has already realized several water projects in third world countries. For example, they are active in Senegal, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh and Indonesia. A total of 43 thousand people have gained access to clean drinking water. To realize this, 3,138,096,667 liters of clean drinking water was used. Just to compare: with this amount of water you can bathe more than 24 million times!
What is done with the water donation?
The water projects that Retulp supports with each bottle sold are chosen with care. For example, countries with permanent water scarcity and a reasonably stable situation are chosen to sustain the initiatives. With the money raised to make the water donation a reality, Madeblue drills for water at great depths, builds pipelines and installs water tanks and taps in places on earth where it is most needed.
What can you do to make clean drinking water a reality?
