Retulp Bio Drup: a new sustainable water bottle

We are proud to introduce you to our newest sustainable water bottle: the Retulp Bio Drup. With the introduction of the Bio Drup, you not only purchase a beautifully shaped water bottle, but also make a concrete contribution to a better world. After all, by using reusable drinking bottles, mountains of disposable plastic are saved. This plastic would otherwise have largely ended up in the oceans, where it causes great damage. The new Bio-based water bottle is therefore a high quality drinking bottle with a long lifespan. In this way we work together to combat the plastic soup.
Bio Based water bottle
Besides the fact that a reusable water bottle is better for the environment, the bottle is also produced in a sustainable way. The Bio Drup water bottle is made entirely from bio-based HPDE. This is a raw material that is flexible, recyclable and food-safe. Therefore, as little as possible is used, but as sustainable a raw material as possible. The drinking bottle itself is made from raw materials from sugar cane. This is also the case with our Bio drinking bottle. By using a bio-based raw material, the CO2 emissions are reduced in comparison to a standard fossil-based raw material. The Bio Drup is also, together with the Bio bottle, the lightest bottle at the moment. Because less material is used, this bottle is more sustainable than others. It also reduces emissions during transport.
From sugar cane to drinking bottle
Normally, drinking bottles are made of plastic, which is produced from petroleum. Producing petroleum and processing it into plastic takes energy. As a result, the production of plastic drinking bottles creates large CO2 emissions and can cause environmental pollution. This therefore contributes to global warming. Retulp stands for sustainability and thus wants to do this in a different way. As a result, it uses the agricultural product sugar cane. By using sugar cane during production, the whole process can be a lot more environmentally friendly. This therefore ensures a significant decrease in CO2 emissions.
Features of the Bio Drup
The Bio Drup water bottle is designed and produced in the Netherlands. It is a lightweight 500 ml drinking bottle, which is available in 6 different colors: red, white, blue, black, green and grey. The Bio Drup has a perfect shape that fits comfortably in the hand. Moreover, the drinking bottle is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. In addition, the cap is equipped with a loop, so it cannot get lost. Moreover, the Bio Drup water bottle is fully recycled after long term (re)use. The drinking bottle is both durable and highly recyclable!
