Our most special customer case of 2026: A Retulp bottle for the Pope
Plastic Soup Surfer, the initiative of Merijn Tinga from the Netherlands, is active in plastic-free living, raising awareness and fighting disposable plastic. For his Oslo-Rome expedition in 2026, Retulp made an engraved drinking bottle with the text Casa Comune, intended for his meeting with the Pope in Rome. In addition, Retulp also provided 48 specially printed bottles for the crowdfunding campaign surrounding this special trip. Important were an appropriate engraving, a strong story and a product that fit well with the shared mission.
In this customer case, everything comes together. Retulp and Plastic Soup Surfer have been committed for years to tackling plastic waste at the source, reducing disposable plastic and encouraging recycling. That makes this collaboration extra special for Retulp . The engraved drinking bottle is not only a practical product, but also a symbol of impact, reuse and movement. Read more here!
